Yesterday I met up with a nice local company that is offering the players to take surveys, and in return they get AspenBux to play in game.

The AspenBux can be used for wagering against other players, or buying custom Cue Sticks. Or, you can actually withdraw the money in REAL USD via paypal. This is a great addition to the site, and it's totally voluntary.

Looking for a good online pool game?

I've searched far and wide for a great pool game to play online, and well... I gave up, there weren't any. I'm not talking about fancy 3D pool you have to download, just simple 2d pool with really good physics and it plays in the browser.

I was also partial to java games, because I like being able to use the right mouse button to shoot. (Commonly called right click).

Back in April of 2008, I decided, hey, why not make my own? So I did. It's always under development, but it has very good game play, quite a few players (not 100's though) and it's fun to play. Come check it out:

Just recently, we added the ability to have a custom cue stick. They can be purchased with in-game credits (free), or with paypal. Just so you know, you can't buy in game credits. The credits are earned by playing in special pool tournaments. After you get a few, you can wager those credits against another player to earn even more. But it's still not 100% online pool gambling, it's better, it's Free!!!
